Senior Pastor Rick Painter

Rick's wife, Donna, has been his life and ministry partner over 42 years. They have served at Argyle since 1994.

After serving Argyle for 15 years in various pastoral roles, Rick was chosen in 2010 to be our primary communicator, vision-caster and leader, and oversees our Worship Arts Ministry. His passion is to be a man after God's own heart, believing that the heart is what really matters (Proverbs 4:23, CSB).

Rick is also an accomplished singer, musician, songwriter and audio engineer who has been in ministry his whole adult life. He and Donna are the parents of three wonderful adult children; twin girls Melissa and Michelle and son, Rich, and proud grandparents of Melissa's daughters, Magnolia & Georgia, and Rich's son, Liam.

Ministry Pastor & Administrator Hal Hunter

Hal and his wife, Betty, have been members of the Argyle family since 1994, serving in a number of areas. Hal joined the staff in 2003 and was ordained to the Gospel ministry in 2005.

Hal's responsibilities include adult ministry, LifeGroups, guest services, education, and assimilation. He is accountable for business affairs, budget and finances, office administration, and facilities. He is Webmaster, network manager, and assists with technical services.

Hal's passion is to work with people whose lives are being changed. I get to talk to people who are making spiritual decisions and I get to witness what happens when The Holy Spirit is working in their lives. This is exciting stuff!

High School & Young Adult Pastor Rev. David Bass  About David…
High School & Young Adult Pastor David Bass

A member at Argyle since 2000, David and his wife Kim are active in many areas of our fellowship. Ordained to the Gospel ministry late in 2008, David joined the staff in January, 2009. He leads in Alive, our ministry to teens in grades 6-12, and Momentum, our ministry to young single adults.

David and Kim are multi-talented, both playing in our Praise Band and involved in the whole ministry at Argyle. David brings to the staff a touch of fashionable craziness which is the traditional role of Youth Pastors.

David's particular passion is to bring the love of Christ to as many people as possible.

David and Kim are the proud parents of Hannah and Sarah.

Middle School Pastor Rev. Justin Kennedy  About Justin…
Middle School Pastor Justin Kennedy

Justin Kennedy is our newest pastor, selected to lead Middle School Ministry in March, 2013, and ordained to the Gospel ministry in November, 2013.

Justin found his way to Argyle in 2011 when he became engaged to Kaleigh Thompson. They married in July, 2013 and are now partners in ministry, and the proud parents of Lucas.

He leads in Alive, our ministry to youth in grades 6–12, plays bass and sings with our Worship Team, produces and edits graphics and video, and whatever else it takes.

Justin is a graduate of Liberty University. His goal is to use his passion for music and for God in his career.

Children's Ministry Director Kaleigh Kennedy

Kaleigh Kennedy is our Children's Ministry Director. Her ministry leadership includes Amazing Place (preschool kids), UpStreet (Kindergarten – fifth grade) and coordination of childcare for other activities.

Kaleigh grew up at Argyle, coming here with her family in 2002 (check out her mom, Donna, below), and is married to Justin (check him out above). She and Justin are the proud parents of Lucas.

A 2015 Summa Cum Laude Masters Degree graduate of Jacksonville University studying elementary education, children's ministry satisfies both her passion for Christ and for children.

Financial Assistant & ACPK Director Terri Johnson

Terri Johnson is Director of Argyle Christian Preschool and our church's Financial Assistant. She and her husband Darrell have been members of Argyle since 1997 and have served in many areas, but in particular with our children.

As ACP Director, Terri leads the staff and faculty, insuring that the children entrusted to our care get the very best Christian academic experience. As Financial Assistant, she handles our accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger activities. In everything she does, she brings excellence and commitment.

Terri and Darrell are the proud parents of two daughters, Baileigh and Chelsea.

Ministry Assistant Donna Thompson

Donna Thompson is our Ministry Assistant. Donna, her husband Keith, and the entire Thompson family have been deeply involved at Argyle since 2002. Donna joined the staff in Summer, 2012.

Donna handles our front office and assists in all ministry areas. She is usually the first face or voice people encounter when they deal with our church during the week.

Donna and Keith are parents of Kaleigh (see above) and Hunter, and grandparents of Lucas.

LifeGroup Team Leader Phil Massicotte

Phil Massicotte is the newest staff member and became our LifeGroup Team Leader in February, 2018. Phil is a graduate of Trinity Baptist College with a B.A. in Church Ministries.

Phil was ordained as a deacon in 1990, and now serves as an elder and as moderator. He is also deeply involved in our leadership development and discipleship efforts.

Phil and his wife, Lyn, became members of Argyle in 1988 and have both served in a variety of ministries over the years. Married in 1983, they raised 3 children in our church (Philip, Stephen & Rachel and currently have two grandchildren (and have requested many more!)

Custodian Stan Stufflebeam  About Stan…
Custodian Stan Stufflebeam

Stan Stufflebeam and his wife, Sue, have been at Argyle since 2001. Stan wears many hats at Argyle. He is our Custodian, caring for our facilities and seeing to general maintenance. He is the Director of the Worship Band, where he plays trumpet. He is also our Music Librarian, keeping our performance charts under control, and where they need to be when they need to be there.

A little known fact about Stan – he was the church's first volunteer Music Director when it was founded in 1985.
